Teach for Myanmar
Teach for Myanmar is a non-profit organization that places volunteer teachers throughout Myanmar to help promote local community development through education. For 10 weeks to 1 year, volunteers work with local community organizations to teach university students and youth; the most popular placements being in Yangon in Mandalay. Volunteers teach English and social sciences, and act as mentors to their students throughout their stay.

Great and Unique Experience
This is not for the person who is going abroad for the first time, but if you've traveled a bit and really want the experience of teaching in a local community where you are valued and appreciated, this is it.
