MYP Coordinator
Description
Required for an immediate start in this locally managed Bilingual school which opened in 2008. Students are predominantly local Emirati. This position will involve introducing and implementing the MYP curriculum to the school. As the school is relatively new the class sizes are very small but intake is growing each term.
Due to Ministry requirements teachers must have at least 3 years experience to be considered for this position.
Teachers considering this position must have a Bachelor of Education, and MYP Training and experience.
* PYP Arabic & English Bilingual Curriculum
* IB experienced teachers are preferred. Western Educated. 3 years experience is a must.
* Opened 2008, NOR 150. Predominantly local Emirati children.

Qualifications

Teachers must be fully trained to teach in state schools in one of these countries and possess full qualification/certification with teacher training such as a Bachelors or Masters of Education, PGCE, Higher Diploma in Education, etc. South African teachers with only a diploma of education will have very limited opportunities as most Ministries of Education require a Bachelors degree in Education, and do not like the word Diploma.
Please note that these are not jobs teaching English as a foreign language and therefore a TEFL certificate and/or non-educational Bachelors degree alone is not enough.
