Get professional teaching qualification in Taiwan

This teaching internship is based in the Krabi Province of Thailand, Asia, an area that is renowned for its stunning natural beauty. By joining this internship you can gain a TEFL (Teach English as a Foreign Language) qualification while training on critical education projects and exploring the region, which contains gorgeous white-sand beaches, beautiful national parks, abundant wildlife and a rich culture.

Alongside your teacher training, participants on this project will teach English to adults in the community from the very beginning. This means you can gain teaching experience from the start which you will develop throughout the program until you finally earn a TEFL certificate at the end of the program. Participants that complete their 10 week initial teacher training at the GVI base in southern Thailand will then be equipped and ready to move on to an additional 3 month volunteer teaching placement in communities requesting assistance throughout Thailand. In addition, GVI offers a job placement service to all volunteers, to help them find paid positions in the TEFL industry. College credit may be available for those attending this program.
