Student Population:
A small multinational/cultural student body of about 250 children from K to 9th grade. None of the students are Saudi Nationals.

The Position:
The School Principal serves as the educational leader of the school. The Principal ensures that all programs and practices of faculty and staff support the school's mission, vision and core values statements, and that all students are provided with an excellent educational program. The Principal reports to the Director of Education (there is no superintendent or school board).

All instructions are in English. The school follows a British School Curriculum.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Oversees all aspects of the school's instructional program development, implementation & evaluation
* Supervises and evaluates all school faculty and staff
* Embraces technology and uses it as a management and instructional tool daily
* Designs opportunities to empower students, staff and parents to be integrally involved in all aspects of the school's culture and climate
* Commits to daily communication with all stakeholders using multiple forms of communication
* Understands the complexities and nuances of hiring, evaluating, inspiring and mentoring all staff members to exceed expectations
* Models and articulates high expectations
* Embraces the roles parents play supporting the school community and their children's education
* Meets regularly with parents, students and staff to assist in meeting the needs of the diverse group of learners
* Understands the schools responsibility to prepare students for their future in this rapidly changing global society
* Embraces change and innovation and is able to envision and actualize learning beyond the traditional walls of the classroom and the school
* Develops & manages the school's instructional budget
* Participates with the educational team, the Director of Education, the Director of Recruitment in the development of the annual total school budget
* Coordinates the development & implementation of new programs & services at the school
* Coordinates the School Curriculum Improvement Process
* Makes or delegates admissions decisions for the school
* Oversees and manages the school's record keeping
* Performs additional duties as assigned by the Director of Education
