ProWorld - Volunteer Teach in Peru
Description
Teach English, Math or your specialty and work with local schools or communities on a focused literacy, math, or other educational project. Other options include art education, computers, health/life skills, and youth sports. The focus of your teaching project is determined by your skills and the needs of the local youth and community members. In addition to hands on teaching experience you will take part in weekly adventures and cultural activities in our peaceful host communities.
Programs are highly supported by an onsite staff team and welcoming community partners. ProWorld, founded in 1998, is a true leader in the fields of study abroad and international development.

Highlights

Excursions include weekly adventure and cultural activities, tour of the Sacred Valley and Incan ruins, remote community cultural events, and exploring high Andean forests.

Qualifications
All participants must have an adventurous spirit. Development projects are determined by the interests and skills of participants and the needs of the local community. Participants may need intermediate Spanish skills depending on the type of internship.
