Teach for Myanmar works with organizations throughout Myanmar to organize teaching placements that match the needs of students with the strengths of incredible volunteer teachers. Placements typically range from ten weeks to seven months, and volunteers have the option to stay for as long as a year. There are also short term programs available for teaching workshops and training sessions.

Teaching subjects include English, Social Sciences, and academic skill teaching; student age groups range from 17 to 30 years. A variety of ethnic groups are represented in Myanmar classrooms; this is your chance for full cultural immersion while volunteer teaching abroad.
