Teach in Japan with Shane English Schools!
Description
Shane Schools in Japan, China and Taiwan are currently recruiting teachers with start dates every month. SES offers qualified EFL teachers a challenging and rewarding experience. The positions offer a better than average benefit package including reimbursed airfare, good holiday allowance and an opportunity to teach extra hours to save a bit more. The school offers a great deal in teacher support, from arrival through to additional advanced training.

Teach in Japan. SESJ offers qualified EFL teachers a challenging and rewarding experience in the Tokyo area. The position offers a better than average benefit package including end contract bonus, paid transportation, paid holidays and an opportunity to teach extra hours to save a bit more. The school offers a great deal in teacher support, from arrival through to additional advanced training.
The teaching is usually in very small classes, maximum ten (10), but the average is about five (5). The teaching mix is about 50% young learners and 50% adults. A lot of the teaching involves one-on-one classes. For successful candidates, training in teaching Young Learners is provided during the first week in Japan.
Teachers (CELTA qualified or equivalent) are paid a monthly salary of Y255,000. Teachers whose teaching hours exceed 275 per quarter are also paid a bonus of Y2,500 for each extra hour taught. Most teachers earn a bonus and the average bonus is usually in the region of Y20,000. Potential annual savings of between EURO 2,500 to EURO 4,000 are easily achievable. Teachers will have about seven weeks paid holidays per year.
Once we have completed an interview and you have been accepted by Shane Schools, it will take 8-10 weeks to arrange a visa.
Qualifications

- Native English speaker from Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa the UK or the US
- Have a recognized degree from one of these countries.
- Have an EFL or teaching certificate or are willing to take a certificate accepted by SES.
