English teaching in all schools is now being accorded increasing importance, particularly by the new generation of young ambitious Ethiopians who are striving to improve their country’s place in the world, as well as their own.

Volunteer English teaching in Ethiopia is an ideal way to help out with vital development effort taking place in Ethiopia. You can gain work experience without a formal teaching qualification.

The impact you will have on the lives of your students will be obvious and long-lasting, but you will also be part of a much wider development effort.

Qualifications

- It is not necessary for volunteers to have any specific qualifications; apart from being a native English speaker it is just your time and enthusiasm that you can bring to the project that are needed the most.
- Minimum age 21, maximum age dependant on participant's health.
