Program Description

Recruiting GMAT instructors

Description

Manhattan GMAT hires expert teachers who have proven their mastery of the GMAT and who can engage students of all ability levels in a stimulating and rigorous learning environment. Teachers are hired to instruct full classes and to tutor students one-on-one or in small groups. We provide extensive training and all student and instructor materials, but encourage the development of unique teaching styles.

The pay is per hour for all classroom teaching and private tutoring. Teaching and tutoring primarily take place during evenings and weekends. You will also receive a training bonus and part of which will be given as a signing bonus.

Highlights

We Value Talented Instructors:

Manhattan GMAT is designed to attract experts. We do NOT believe in a cookie-cutter "teacher-proof" curriculum. On the contrary, we provide our teachers with a highly structured curriculum which the Instructor can use, modify, and enhance in any way he or she sees fit. Our goal is to maximize student achievement, and our belief is that the teacher is in the best position to know how to accomplish this. We provide the methods, but ultimately each Instructor decides how to teach particular problems based on his or her own experience and beliefs about what is most effective.

Flexible Working Hours:
We normally require that you work for us at least 3 hours per week. Beyond that, you set your own hours. We offer you live courses, online courses and private tutoring students, which you can accept or decline based on your own schedule. Instructors typically teach between 3 and 20 hours per week for Manhattan GMAT.

Professional Compensation:
Teachers may not be in it for the money, but it certainly can’t hurt. Our $100-per-hour pay rate for teaching is the best in the industry. We also pay $4,000 as a signing bonus ($1,000 upon receiving an offer and $3,000 upon completion of training) and give additional end-of-year bonuses that grow with your tenure and other factors. Moreover, we offer well-paid curriculum development opportunities.
