While I'm sure the Ibero Spanish school is a perfectly fine program, I could not say the same about their TEFL program. The poor organization and lack of attention to confirmation of students enrolling in the course led to me losing nearly 3000 US dollars. I, and a good friend of mine who also enrolled in the IberoTEFL program, were lured down there under lies and deceit.
The student programs organizer, was a condescendingly rude woman who is quite full of herself and ready to tell her life's story at the drop of a hat. This "organizer" downright lied to both of us, telling us that there was a full class of 7 students enrolled and ready to begin our certification. As it turned out, there were never any other students enrolled, (only several people who emailed her and showed mild interest in the program). However, Tara took it upon herself to assume that those people were fully committed to showing up in Buenos Aires by the first day of class ready to begin, which they never were whatsoever.
IberoTEFL doesn't even meet the international standard of certification hours. IberoTEFL also promotes itself as the best TEFL program in Latin America, that's a laugh. With a website riddled with grammatical errors, how can you expect a high quality education in the field of ENGLISH INSTRUCTION and 4 weeks of well-organized certification if IberoTEFL cannot even use proper english on their website??
As I stated before, do not let this interview put you off of the Ibero Spanish School, I'm simply stating the incompetency of the fickle operation that is Ibero TEFL. DO. NOT. CHOOSE. THIS. PROGRAM!!!!
