Nancy Lewis

I lived in Phoenix, Arizona for 13 years, teaching Spanish & English as a second language. But the economic downturn forced me to look for a job out of the country. I had always wanted to be a long-term traveler, so I decided this was my opportunity to hit the road.

I spent seven months in Vietnam teaching English before accepting a teaching job in Shanghai, China. I arrived here in January of 2010.

This city can be pretty overwhelming at times, though it has pretty much anything you could want - except teleportation, but I guess that's okay. While I'm here, I'm trying to learn some Chinese in hopes of decyphering life in the Middle Kingdom.
